On Sensible Medicine yesterday, I made the case that it is time to tell healthy adults to throw away their mask, and break their CO2 monitor; It is not healthy to be tweeting photos of CO2 levels, as you live you life. I noticed that many irrationally anxious people are physicians, epidemiologists or policy makers who have repeatedly played a role in COVID19 policy discussions on schools, lockdown, vaccine mandates and more.

Here, I present some of their tweets, and raise the thorny question: How do we make sure that people giving public health advice are doing so from a good emotional place?

Just as you would not feel reassured if the general leading the army was having a panic attack, the person pushing for public health policy should not be sleeping under the bed with an n95 on. Here are just a few tweets I have seen that struck me as bizarre…..
