What a week!

Pre-departure testing and toddler masking are gone. But Alameda county re-institutes mask mandates. Two steps forward, one step back.

First let's remember the specifics of the two policies that fell.

The travel mandate was to have a negative test before flying back to the USA, but didn't apply to driving back to the states.

The masks mandate in NYC only applied to 2-4 year olds. No one else was required to mask.
