What I was really eager for is the ability to really learn how to read and interpret research. Statistics are vital in our proper understanding of the world. You are an expert in that domain, and an authentic one at that. I really appreciate when you go over research (Barney -style) and give us Plebians a rudimentary, but necessary interpretation in real time of how proper research is conducted. I think that you would be amazing at telling the general populace how to properly interpret research specifically to become successful in learning. That would be a great niché for you.
I’m letting my subscription expire because you don’t edit. “Fast” isn’t always good, and quantity isn’t always better. The points you make are often valuable and need to be heard, but basic spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes undermine the validity of the writer (especially when readers are paying money to subscribe). Many commenters on here in past months have expressed a similar disappointment.
Right, he’s not writing a college term paper or published article for a newspaper or medical (or otherwise) journal. It’s a substack, meant to communicate ideas, which are definitely conveyed clearly.
Yes, lots of grammatical errors. But, I think this is universal now. Even the big websites don't employ good editors, so mistakes are common. Suggest he hire an English major to edit his work before publishing. Wouldn't cost much and would make a huge difference.
I would agree to a certain point. What I agree with you on is anyone with a brain could download grammarly; toss your work in super quick to get a spell check done in less that a half a second, then post your work. Hint Hint: Love you Vinay, but get a spell checker. It's a bit important.
It was nice to hear you and ‘see you inaction’ Vinay...though I don’t always agree with your ‘thinking’ I respect it and so appreciate your ‘facile & quick’ mind! 🙏🏼🕵🏼♀️

As long as the points and ideas are all still conveyed without ambiguity, who cares? What a strange complaint.

Every time I see grammatical errors and typos I think "he's a 10, but he doesn't proofread"... but I enjoy the commentary anyway.
