The coronavirus was manufactured in the lab.

The Covid fear was manufactured by the media.

The consensus around lockdowns, masking and vaccine mandates was manufactured by the government, media, and public health agencies.

Now they are trying to manufacture trust in public health. That may be the hardest of them all.

But the stupid fear people experienced is a PEOPLE CHARACTER FLAW, a defect

Yes I agree completely. We cannot let "public health" get away with these ridiculous statements about "doing the best with what we knew at the time." Many of us knew better in March and April 2020, and it got more obvious after that. There are many examples of egregious decisions by PH "experts" but few were as horrendous as mandates of a poorly tested new technology "vaccine" that caused obvious harms with little evidence of efficacy, for young healthy people! What is even more outrageous is the persistence of pushing this flawed science on the public even today. Thanks for continuing to bring this to our attention.

Thank you ! Keep at it. We need the truth to not be forgotten and swept under the carpet. Keep accountability , actual science,

and distrust in public health alive.

Without offering any excuses, think about this. We live in a hyperbolic world. Driven by an incessant media and social media hype. Always looking for immediate blame and scapegoats.

Now, what would you have done if you were in charge of a state or national position to offer the public advice? This public is now easily spooked by everything. Kids with bulldozer Moms. Only Sweden bravely developed rational responses, drawing worldwide criticisms and opprobrium.

I am convinced the main goal of any public official is CYA. What will make me look good, or at least not bad. The primary goal supersedes any rational or scientific considerations.

Today, even more than in the past, people just believe. They do not think. We have lost critical thinking skills. It's like TSA at the airport. It is primarily a show of force more than anything else.

Aside from Sweden, IMO, Gov DeSantis was very rational. I remember hearing him give a press conference of some sort and everything he said made complete sense. Keep schools open, businesses etc..and protect our seniors. Boy, did he get verbally slaughtered for his rational thinking.

Don't be under any illusion he did this for rational reasons. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

This is a totally gratuitous smear of a courageous and difficult decision by DeSantis.

What are you talking about? Do you disagree with the actions DeSantis took, and if so, why?

You do like Anders Tegnell and stand for f.in truth and decades of pandemic preparedness plans written by public health experts, written exactly for such situations, which stated NO to NPIs and NO to authoritarianism.

The pandering to wimps and germpohobes and hysterics must end.

Just stop!

I'm at the conference too and I agree 100%. The level of dishonesty on what was known from the pro NPI speakers is truly disheartening. And the claim that there was no control over school closure decisions by school boards was a spectacular level of dishonesty that was really shameful.

Vinay...this post made me upgrade to being a paid subscriber. Your steadfast adherence to the TRUTH is so refreshing and I'm sure it comes with some negative consequences at times so I thank you for putting yourself in that position. Keep up the great work!

I would love to know if the 6ft rule, that was based on nothing, gets discussed and if anyone tries to defend it. That "rule" alone caused so much destruction.

Didn't Fauci himself admit they just pulled the "6ft rule" out of their ass, and there was no logic, testing, or metrics to it? Probably it just SOUNDED GOOD. 3ft didn't sound enough, and 9ft wouldn't be workable with stand-in-lines. So "poof" . . . 6ft.

MH's avatar

Exactly right and yes, that 6ft rule came right out of his ass along w his brain.

And the 6 ft rule was one of the primary reasons used to justify school closures!

At least they let you and Jay in the door. It must not be that well received to hear that one's [pronouncements on pandemic policy were based on deliberate distortions of science. Worse yet, not to be able to recognize them.

Thanks Vinay. I’m glad at least in some big institutions there are Drs who are getting together and speaking out…. They were the ones who fell for all this craziness and helped convinced us it was the correct thing to do. But now we know better and aren’t foul easily again

QUESTION FOR VINAY OR COMMUNITY.

Any thoughts on the notion that repeat vaccines may result in the immune system down-regulating and making one more susceptible to covid and/or other viruses? Thanks as always for your work.

Thank you, doctor! I agree with all your points. We must not let them get away with their continued false statements or we will eventually end up in the same boat they put us in in 2020.
