I fully appreciate your view onthis Vinay,, especially since I’ve heard you say previously that you vote Democrat, or at least have Democrat views. To be able to see both sides of the picture and disagree based on truth is to be applauded. That is a true leader!

Over the years, as Vinay actually has looked at the facts, he has become increasingly red-pilled...it has been instructive to watch. The only people who stay blue-pilled are those who ignore all facts and treat it as a religion. I respect Vinay far more, as you underscore, for being one of the few far-left (starting position) folks who looked at the facts and changed their mind.

Carpe Donktum on X got it right today when he said “…you have to keep in mind that if Democrats announced they nominated Hannibal Lecter tomorrow, dems voters would go to the polls excited about a having a doctor in the White House.”

Things are so bizarre to me anymore. I’m even at a loss for words for a short comment. I would abhor being young today. And that’s a sad testament from a guy who loved his youth.

Why is it the COVID decisions of the Biden Harris administration are not being discussed during this campaign?

Because it does not fit the narrative and the legacy media finds those facts inconvenient; therefore it will go unreported to the masses.

Thank you, Vinay, for another excellent article! I think the rise of social media has led to a decline in professional decorum. Some people think they are entitled to ignore what used to be a rule: never discuss politics or religion in a professional setting. In addition, the blatant use of these views, with complete disregard as to their accuracy, in order to gain a career advantage is deplorable behavior that should immediately lead to the offender’s name being removed from any potential promotion lists. We seem to be living in opposite world where behaviors and ideas about which I think should be discredited, disciplined or at the very least ignored, are instead rewarded with big promotions, increased power, and prestigious appointments. Keep shining the spotlight on these hypocrites and highlighting their poor behaviors for all to see, Vinay. If it opens one eye to the truth, it’s worth it!

This guy Jha has been creepy since he emerged. In the cited B.S. that he wrote about VP Harris, I noted a “tell” when used the adjective “genuine” twice in two adjacent paragraphs. He doesn’t even know how to write good bullshit. He’s making himself look like a joke.

Excellent case study in political bias in medical and scientific leadership that runs in one direction, undermining the public credibility of the entire enterprise. Other examples are top medical/scientific journals openly endorsing political candidates in 2020. The is a problem that urgently requires correction.

The worst thing about the pandemic was the loss of trust in healthcare/doctors. But the best thing about the pandemic is that it opened my eyes.

There's nothing new under the sun (Read Kings 1&2 and Chronicles 1&2). None of this is new...but it's new to the general public. And while it's easy to blame social media, it's the same medium that's exposing the fraud. So to me it's net benefit while others may say it's a net harm. I'm always on the side of "knowing" than "being ignorant but happy" I do see the tide turning a bit. But Light literally shined the light on extremism. MSNBC is leading the charge for MSM into irrelevance. And I'm glad there are substacks where I can get the views of people and come to my own decision.

Do "normal" people w/o social media know what's going on? I don't think so. There are vast swath of people who get their news from nbc/abc/cbs nightly news. Like we all used to.

I agree. When I ruminate about the pandemic, I usually come back to being grateful. It opened my eyes. It showed me who my people are. It made me realize that I don’t blindly follow the herd when times get scary-and I can look in the mirror
