It's one thing for a President to pardon someone for crimes they've been charged and convicted of, and an entirely different situation to provide this kind of legal protection. I think if you want to issue/accept a blanket pardon, you should have to provide a full confession for all the crimes you're being accused of committing. Such hypocrisy.
