Is Apoorva Mandavilla an avatar or a real person? The acts as an avatar who is really a mouthpiece fo the deep state. Only the most gullible readers from The NY Times (and it appears there are many of them) would believe the horrible journalism this pseudo-journalist publishes. I canceled my subscription to the New York Times in 2020 precisely because of fake journalists like Mandavilla.
She doesn't have to be a fake person to write terrible articles, plenty believe the hysteria and lies. Remember, she was part of a Pulitzer Prize winning team for publishing this propaganda, she can't give up the hype now!
For a "science journalist", she seems to have real issues with numbers. Her mistakes are hilariously bad: off by a factor of 7 or 14? Just another day in the office.
“Mistakes”… yeah, right. If she didn’t consistently make this kind of “mistake,” do you think that Yale’s school of public health would have invited her to be their commencement speaker this past year? The more such “mistakes” she makes, the more she will be rewarded. Chances are much higher that you will get disciplined for telling the truth than that she ever will for “mistakes”. ..
This seems like another example of how people can do a job so poorly and incorrectly, and still keep their jobs. Be it a minority hire, she says what the powers at be want to hear, political party affiliation or some other labeled excuse, but if I did this in my job, I would be unemployed and kicked off the island. Her "reporting" comes under a new term I heard- parabolic inversion. NYT does a lot of this kind of reporting (using that term loosely).
Just a Goliath mouthpiece making sure ‘The Gullibles’ (tm) are not becoming complacent. Seems like overkill because NYT readers are by definition not complacent nor not gullible. They would fight one another to get in line to have their babies jabbed if there were a shortage of COVID boosters. Thank you Dr. for your perseverance in keeping us informed for we are the complacent ones that need to be reminded of the work of Goliath.
I used to get the Sunday times when visiting NY family. Now, the one time my daughter picked it up for me, I took out the style and book section and told her to use the rest for my grandsons cockatiel cage.
I've noticed a lot of so called mistakes designed to confuse the dumbest and most vulnerable. The other day I was watching an interview and I heard the claim that myocarditis is worse among the unvaxxed. And I thought, well that's a bold and blatant lie. Why would anyone make such a stupid claim? Then I realized he was just trying to confuse the stupidest and most cognitively damaged quarter of the audience. Very cynical and Satanic stuff.
The covidians would gladly accept any new shibboleth demanded by the CDC. I was honestly surprised that they would turn on the CDC when any of the shibboleths were relaxed or removed. I’m sure this is normal behavior in cults, but it is still hard to understand from the outside.
When I worked for the county Department of Public Health the COVID isolation policy for HCWs was changed to just what the CDC now advises. That was February 2021.
I'm more upset by her belittling the suffering children went through than by her cooking the number of deaths. We will not know the extent to which the shutdowns hurt children probably for another decade. For sure, the increase in diabetes will be substantial as high cortisol caused by constant anxiety increases weight and right around the waist....
It's been a long time since I've seen real journalism in the New York Times.. I've noticed a gradual decline and then a sharp drop to the bottom in 2020.

Apoorva wants to have a disinformation governance board censor or imprison anyone who disagrees with her. We need to continue mocking commissars like her and scary poppins: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/nina-jankowicz-ministry-of-truth-scary-poppins-

“A decent NY Times”
Jumbo shrimp
Military intelligence
Honest politician
Plastic silverware
Rational covidian
She probably actually believes much of what she writes, which is why they won’t sack her—useful idiot serving the propaganda arm of the government.

Bravo, Dr Prasad. Many thanks to all who speak up.

The NYT is DNC/CIA propaganda pure and simple. There is zero news in that rag sheet It’s nothing but narrative pushing.
It cannot be a coincidence that all her mistakes go in one direction.
