Amen VP! I've been waiting and waiting for you to be brave enough to state the obvious! In our ultra Blue Dane County WI where Covidians reign many of us have been telling friends, parents, anyone since at least the start of 2022...why test? Why are you testing again? Who does it help? Don't tell the school that will help NO ONE!" "How would testing change your behavior in treating your cold?" "Wake up no one is testing, don't waste your $ and if you are curious why bother telling anyone". We've been preaching this for 18+mo. Thank you for joining in from the sensible medical perspective...I wish you and several colleagues could take maybe 2wks and travel to a few crazy cities and gather other MDs in a round table and talk sense into them...then they could also move the needle in their respective health care systems. Its insanity. It can't be 100 people here and there saying NO...it needs to be massive.

Wow, Vinay. An explicit, clear, and reasoned-out call to resistance.

This is bad ass.

Amen to no more testing or reporting.

I was told this morning by a nurse in an Assisted Living that a friend of hers working in Homeland Security that “for sure a lockdown is coming real soon- but it will be short.”

Resistance is the only way out now.

PS As of this morning that facility has 4 positive cases in dementia patients. Can’t keep them in their rooms, so they are roaming in their unit. Guess what, none of them are sick beyond having sniffles.

I've been quietly following all of these suggestions since summer of 2020 when I realized reality had left the building. I bet a lot of people quietly did the same thing. It's sure nice to read this post and see other people pushing back in social media. Resist indeed.

I build analytical platforms for some of the biggest companies in the world, it's mind bugling just how unreliable data has been from day one, which went into decision making that affected billions of people. Just from quality of data perspective the whole thing looks like a joke, you couldn't run any company from this rubbish.

Vinay’s so red-pilled now it’s awesome. I mean the original meaning, ie not trusting authority.

I think it’s another “look at me” moment for many people...an opportunity to try to be relevant by publicly proclaiming “I tested positive for covid.” I know, a sad statement about us homo sapiens.

Yes to all of this. I never tested and certainly never reported any illness to our school. It's the only way.

I used to live near MoCo and this is spot on. Thank you for speaking out on this. I will not stand for another year of masking in schools “because we said so.” Please continue to advocate for kids!

Excellent advice. My nephew , who works at a supermarket, had COVID that was nothing more than mild congestion stayed home for a day or two, refused to tell anyone at work and said "F that" I'm not staying home for a week! I applauded him.

Rumor has it that *teachers* are being told not to test, because there is a shortage of subs and they can't afford to have teachers out longer than necessary.

So there we go. Just stop testing or don't report it. The teacher won't.
