Remember when Rand Paul asked Fauci how much money his people were getting paid (I assume in personal and/or grant funding) and his answer was that he was not required by law to disclose that? That, to me, should get changed right off the bat. We should darned well know how much Pharma is paying the people who are in a position to approve their products/devices.

I'm really tired of people calling RFK Jr. an anti-vaxxer. He's not. He's an environmental lawyer, and he represents people who were injured by vaccines. That does NOT make someone anti-vax. He knows that the US's vaccine court rarely pays out to the families of injured kids, that the pharmaceutical companies try to twist their studies so that they end too early or reject adverse event participants, and that the 1986 National Vaccine Injury Act makes it impossible for many parents to sue for adverse events. If anything, he's anti NVIA act, anti-fudging the data, and pro-placebo based, randomized, double-blinded vaccine trials.

Agreed

Bobby Kennedy is anti-mandate… anti-arm twisting… anti pharma corruption.

He is NOT anti-vax.

In fact, he has vaccinated his children and he himself has been vaccinated from time to time in the past. He’s not going to take away conventional medicine’s precious vaccines — he’s going to give us an informed choice.

Exactly!!! Thank you for sharing this!! Keep on doing it! The false narrative about RFK, Jr is very damaging and was originally spread by the legacy media.

You wrote, "In some ways, God gave Americans two arms: one to vote for Trump and the other to give thumbs up to RFK Jr." Perhaps this is one of the greatest wisecracks you have *ever* coined and it will be very hard to generate something better in future.

By the way, I was repulsed by this guy Jha from the very beginning of his "reign" -- a slippery, oleaginous, shifty self-promoter. No thanks.

Jha will not be forgotten when it comes to accurate historical surveys of what went on during the pandemic here in 'Murika.

Amen. If corporations and a generally pro-corporate attitude didn't have undue sway at the FDA, we wouldn't see articles like this (doi:10.1001/jama.2024.2396) and this (doi:10.1001/jamaoncol.2024.5145). And these are the ones that actually get published in the journals that are themselves heavily influenced by pharma advertisers! You don't even need to go near corona (and the federal government spending public money to advertise EUA biologicals in ways that would have violated federal law if the drug companies themselves had done it) to say that FDA needs reform, and that a plaintiffs' attorney is a decent choice to bring it about.

I’d like to know why Facebook deletes this piece. Do they really think it is misinformation? Are they trying to protect Jha, or do they not like VP?

This is creepy - they don’t have to obey Biden anymore, so why do this?

They need to pay their bills. And right now pharma does that for them.

Also they’re blind to the new day coming. They can’t even imagine it. But the carrot/stick incentive model will help correct this misbehavior. They just doing what they’re instructed to do for now.

That sounds plausible, but I googled for ad money spent on FB and pharma didn’t appear. I’m guessing this is left over from when they had to suck up to Biden.

I have a friend who is very pro-COVID booster. Last week he took his 13 year old son to a local CVS for a co-administered flu shot and COVID booster. His son was given the flu shot followed by the booster, whereupon he lost consciousness and was revived with an epi-pen shot. An ambulance was called and he was rushed to the hospital, where he was released after observation. My friend was terrified and felt terrible after all this. I wonder what Dr Jha would say? I hope this was reported to VAERS.

Jha’s statement about his concern for someone being wrong is nothing but an abomination regarding truth and research. Real science often proves precisely how wrong we can be. This confirms that he got his cushy job because among other things, he believes he can never be wrong so why there is no need to prove anything. Let’s just ask him. How insufferable!
