My conclusion regarding his employment is that Dr. Gupta is preaching to the MSNBC choir and apparently management likes it that way. We can only hope that someday the choir will become so small that it can no longer be profitable.

This is why the public has lost trust in physicians. We are responsible for our undoing. Dr Gupta’s assertions defy common sense, much less medical knowledge.

The subtitle caught my attention: "Astonishing errors" At this point, why would it be astonishing? Isn't it expected? He talks on MSNBC, and he's a doctor. If I'm a betting man, I'm putting my money on the fact he's LEFT to FAR FAR FAR LEFT - that may not be du jour, but it certainly is de facto. The ability of doctors (in general, clearly not all) to think critically is no more. Maybe it never was. Woke mind virus is very real. I see it every damn day. Also, I don't mean classical liberals who believed in free speech. I'm talking about LEFTIST whose core religious tenets are: race baiting, virtue signaling and covid testing.

Feb-March 2021 behavior was particularly unprofessional, back in the days of bamlanivimab (remember that one?). Very dismissive of other clinicians pointing out that studies did not suggest efficacy (see his dismissive use of "docs" as if they were not actually physicians: https://x.com/VinGuptaMD/status/1362244418040856580). One particularly nasty attack against Anand Swaminathan, who is quite well-known in EM education, let to him backtracking and deleting after Swaminathan's supports pushed back. He publicized lots of anecdotes e-mailed to him about how well this MAB worked for patients when he should know the plural of anecdote is just "anecdotes" and not "evidence."

I think it's just another propaganda piece to convince us all we need to get boosted for eternity. Now that it's been acknowledged that the current boost rate is very low, it's almost impossible to see it any other way. Was there a mention of who funded this study? 🤔

“Among cable channels, the median age for TNT and Bravo viewers is 56, for HGTV it is 66, and even the once-youthful MTV’s median-age viewer is 51, according to Nielsen data.

The cable news audience is even older, with MSNBC’s median age at 70, Fox News’s at 69 and CNN’s, 67. Among broadcasters, CBS’s median age is 64 and ABC’s is 66.” - WSJ

Seriously tho - the only people who watch MSNBC seem to be folks who are ashamed and self loathing. Today’s version of the self flagellators during the black plague.

The Corporate Press is being revealed as nothing more than 24/7 advertising. This revelation isn’t universally understood, but the sound of scales falling to the ground is intensifying.

The statements cited are truly outrageous. What are this doctors affiliations? Whatever medical center he is at should definitely see your posting!! Sadly though probably wouldn’t matter. I used to really look up to doctors…

Yawn....we know this type of fellow physician, more political than medical. Lacks data in favor of media attention.
