My father did the same thing. Never got his recommended colonoscopy. Not even one. Like a lot of men. He died early of easily preventable colon cancer.. by the time he had symptoms and tested.. his tumor had spread and it essentially killed him. Would have loved to have another ten years with him. Even one colonoscopy and that benign polyp would have been removed years ago, and likely saved him from surgery and useless cancer treatments that put us all through hell. There's a time and place for certain screenings.
