Surprised you didn't mention the obvious problem with mRNA "vaccines": there's no way to control how much of the target protein gets synthesized in the body, which means there's no way to control the dose of the substance that the immune system is actually going to react to.

The biggest problem I’ve seen pharma wide is the fact that very few drugs demonstrate long term (beyond 6 months) efficacy or lack thereof. I’m wondering what’s going to become of many “miracle drugs” of today (hint - obesity drugs) IF we ever see poor long term evidence; but I suspect that research will either not be done or be buried if results aren’t congruent with profit.
