Surprised you didn't mention the obvious problem with mRNA "vaccines": there's no way to control how much of the target protein gets synthesized in the body, which means there's no way to control the dose of the substance that the immune system is actually going to react to.

The biggest problem I’ve seen pharma wide is the fact that very few drugs demonstrate long term (beyond 6 months) efficacy or lack thereof. I’m wondering what’s going to become of many “miracle drugs” of today (hint - obesity drugs) IF we ever see poor long term evidence; but I suspect that research will either not be done or be buried if results aren’t congruent with profit.

I'm not a medical professional, but I read and I am surrounded by medical professionals: 8 physicians, 3 nurses, 4 dentists, and 1 veterinarian in my extended family - makes for lots of medically related family conversations.

I can't envision a situation where I would EVER voluntarily take another MRNA vaccine

Will Jay B recognize that 65% of Americans are obese--they have waistlines that are for women 38.7 inches and for men 41 inches and that means inflammation, which is why obese people didn't do well when they got Covid. Why don't we fix this problem with the drugs from two major pharmaceutical companies.?? Yes this is very embarrassing but if we don't and pretend it's not, we'll waste even more time and money plus the impact on the economy will be very, very unattractive.

mRNA vaccines (which I have gotten 3 doses of because I did not want my family to get into trouble; Trudeau, my ex-PM, is an authoritarian in his own right) are being pushed down our throats even if we know it is somewhat an experiment and now know that quality control is inadequate (are you surprised?). So I am through with them. But what bugs me (a euphemism) is that the plant based Medicago vaccine technology which produces viral like particles with no nucleic acids and rivals mRNA vaccines for rapidity and protection seems to have been all but abandonned, the pretext being a tobacco company was a shareholder. Bullshit (or worse) unless proven otherwise.

In 2020 40% of Covid deaths were in nursing home patients, reflecting the marked discrepancy in the impact of the virus on various segments of the community. The proper approach would have been to use these vaccines primarily in high-risk patients with limited life expectancy. Moderna phase 2 trial was completed in July 2020 and the FDA waited 5 more months until the phase 3 trial was released before emergency approval. Why did FDA not conduct phase 3 trials in nursing home patient volunteers with an average life expectancy of 1-3 years rather than healthy young individuals who had no need of it.

Can you speak to which myriad of vaccines pushed on us have valid data and you recommend? I’ve put off shingles vax and overdue for tetanus booster because I trust nothing anymore. Thank you for your adherence to science.
