Dr. Prasad, more proof that Pfizer+FDA have been lying this entire time is being discovered every day.

Do you not think it possible that the numbers you're basing your own risk/benefit assessment on are completely faulty?

Etana, I am among the earliest subscribers to this Substack. I have never had any evidence that Vinay reads these comments. Wish he would, but it is what it is.

Thanks! Appreciate that heads up. While it would be nice if he joined the conversation, it's as much for the other readers as it is for the author. The comments section on Substack is one of the best social media platforms I've ever seen.

I completely agree. Over the months I have learned which commenters deserve time/consideration and which get less so. Some really, really smart and thoughtful people write comments. The styles are all over the map which is entertaining, but the comments are often gold.

It's so refreshing. I'm becoming somewhat obsessed with Substack!

If you really get into it, you will find the Substack Reader to be a really, really good tool. reader.substack.com. I do not know why they do not promote it much, and you may already know about it, but I still find that many do not so sharing it here because I have found it to completely improve my relationship with all of the Substacks I follow.

I guess I get by using the email. But that site does a fine job of consolidating subscribed articles. Sadly I confirm what I already know, I am trying to follow too many. And I also get better informed via the comments, remarkable how fast they arrive. In some Stacks, I see the comments can get off the rails quickly and become more difficult to wade through given the way threads are displayed, but all-in-all still useful

Been using it for months! It's taken over as the platform I spend the most time on. Love it.

"You have to deny your humanity to avoid these viruses. It is not worth it. You will destroy your mental health trying to avoid all infection, And you will lose who you are." AHMEN!!!!!!!

Yes, this is very important. Unfortunately, I think historical forces and trends have made it such that PMC/expert class/chattering class people, not to mention political leaders, literally make careers out of denying their and others' humanity.

Thank you for at least acknowledging that adults should not be forced to take medications or vaccines. But you need to be honest about why it is unethical to force them. You know as well as I do that it is because taking them involves risk. The decision therefore involves a risk/benefit analysis. And no one can make that final decision except the person taking the risk - the patient. Please acknowledge the very real risk of these vaccines, the vast number of unknowns, and that at this point and with this variant, it is by no means a given that every adult "should" get vaccinated.

Wish VP would opine on relevance of Brook Jackson, the “BMJ whistleblower”.

He relies so heavily on RCTs to inform recommendations. But what if the very foundation of said trials are corrupt - as Jackson’s credible (in my view) claims infer?

To be clear: I’m super grateful for VP’s insights and critique of the insane public healer status quo!

But man, Brook Jackson’s revelations are God Damning. I’m perplexed -- or perhaps informed -- by VP’s total silence.
